This policy explains how Robin Squared Studios handles user-related data for the Mountain View RP Discord bot and dashboard. This is a private community tool, not a public self-serve guild-installable service.
Age
The dashboard and bot are intended for users who are 16+ and part of the Mountain View RP community.
Data We Collect
- Discord user IDs and basic Discord identity shown through Discord login or bot interactions.
- Dashboard session cookies used to keep you signed in.
- IP address information in dashboard audit/security logs, where captured by the server.
- Character profiles, pronouns/profile fields, avatar URLs, and uploaded avatars.
- RP messages sent through dashboard/proxy systems and related audit metadata.
- User-linked gameplay data, including characters, property access/ownership/tenancy, applications, shops, jobs, employment records, economy balances, ledger entries, approvals, and staff audit actions.
How We Use Data
We use this data to authenticate users, apply permissions, run RP and gameplay systems, proxy messages, manage moderation and approvals, support dashboard security, troubleshoot issues, and maintain community/game integrity.
Sharing
Data is not sold. Data may be processed through Discord as the platform provider, through the server or hosting environment used to run the bot/dashboard, and by authorized community staff/admins where needed to operate the community.
Retention
Data is kept while needed for the community and bot. Valid access, correction, or deletion requests can be sent to [email protected]. Some audit, security, moderation, or game-integrity records may be kept where needed.
Your Choices
You can choose not to use the dashboard or bot. Some Discord-side data is controlled through Discord itself. Removing your uploaded avatar or changing character/profile data may be available through the dashboard where supported.
